After doing these exercises, I understood the important part that lighting plays in an environment, it just makes everything so alive.

Maya Tutorials: 3-Point Lighting

Maya Tutorials: 2-Point Lighting

Maya Tutorials: 1- Point Lighting

These are the 2, 1-point lighting exercises in Maya. I really like how the light set in an environment can change the whole picture.

Self Portrait: Final Portrait preparatory work w/ texture

Here's the updated version of the previous study, where I applied the sand texture to the picture i like the effect on the on the background as well on the t-shirt which gives the impression of disintegration also of movement into other in time.

now, i have to try new composites with it and try some more effect with the sand customized brush

Self Portrait: Final Portrait preparatory work

here's the 1st final portrait study, that will be my position on my final portrait i don't know yet about the composite, here's just an experiment with the 3rd composite, just for me to better visualize the face/body proportions.

Also, i found interesting the effect of the t-shirt, reminding me Edvard Munch self portrait and Robbert Mapplethorpe one.

The Wizard of Oz

After getting this film from the library and to relax a bit from all this project work, i decided to watch it and WoooooooooooooW...

It was so magical, from the story line, the characters and the world. i have read the story a few times, i wanted to compare with the film and i would say i was really impressed, everything was beautifully presented, which made me go into this fantasy world .
From the scarecrow to the Lion, every single character was amazingly produced and with the help of amazing acting skills, also the soundtrack helped a lot to keep entertained.
it made me really believe that would be a place just like that somewhere over the rainbow....

P.s: I absolutely loved this song
