King Solomon's Mines film, 1937

The King Solomon's Mines, directed in 1937 by Robert Stevenson, was the 1st movie adaption of the novel with the same name by H. Rider Haggard. Though it is an adaption it slightly changes when following the novel's plot, especially while showing the cave and the area outside, on one side im glad because it wont limit my imagination to follow the movie sets, but on other side it didnt help me to understand some small question i had about the scene, i guess i just have to let my imagination flow. Watching this film helped me understand how was the society in that time, in british colonies and also the environment of that specific place in Africa where lays Solomons Mines.

Also at this time I'm reading the original novel, to absorb the adventure and narrative to get inspiration.
So for any other person who have the same folder ( who are they?), or for anybody that is interesting here is the film, it can be watched for free on youtube.

Hi Ruben,

It's exciting to see your project ideas developing and I'm pleased you enjoyed the classes with Phill - make sure you get the most out of your friday classes - I know your fridays are long, screen-based marathons, but it will all pay off in the end! :-)

Phill is following your blogs - but he's also horribly busy too, so I don't know how frequently he will check in with you, but be sure to show him everything when you see him on the Friday sessions :-)
