When I started to research the 1970's male icon, a light bulb in my head flashed and I remebered back in Unit 01, when I looked at Robbert Mapplethorpe's Portraits and Photographs the exploration of the nude is more than visible and where he used to have highly muscular Male/Female bodies posing for him.
Apart from his backstory, of itself being controversial, the pictures really show how the human body is used to produce something beautiful, just like a body builder sculpting his own body.
