Unit 04- Concept Design- Beauty Parlour (Updated)

Here's the final image of the my concept design- Beauty Parlour.
As I said on the previous post I just needed to add some more details and correct some shading. Time for the storyboard :)

Corrected:

P.s- The corrected and updated version, shows taking Phil's advice, and create a checkerboard floor pattern, although I have tried it before with some matte painting, this one was created merely by measuring, and creating lines from the main point.

Wrong one:

Hey Ruben,

The period detail here is lovely - that particular shade of 50's pink - the images on the pinboard - the curved edges on the furniture - and the general colour palette... someone has clearly been doing their homework... I just wonder if you may need some kind of more bold floor surface to set the whole interior off?

Try the classic black and white chequerboard or variations thereof... it will also stop your furniture from 'floating'...

Hey Rubes,

The floor makes a big difference - but, if I'm being a really picky bastard, I think, for the final holistic effect, you need to better consider your lighting - the plain florescent strip is 'non-information' - whereas if you were to include a more period style, the vision becomes total; see the link below and scroll down to the commercial 'lampshade' section for some ideas...

Ps - I do appreciate, of course, that you're horribly busy and there's much to do, but details are key.
