While researching some other things for my scene on Youtube, appeared this small video of a Asylum already closed a few years ago, apparently wasn't so close that the person who recorded the video could break in and get this really ambiguous photographs.
Throughout the video, the person who recorded did some alterations in the building like adding some red light to accentuate the weirdness and ambiguity and give a really scary look to it.
Also in my opinion, it deepens when looking at a corridor with doors the feeling that somebody is coming out of them.

That video was quite eery. The red lights really do make it seem like something is lurking around the corner. I was looking through some similar pictures on this website earlier:

They are all quite creepy. They include an orphanage which is especially strange, I would hate to be in any of these places when it gets dark.
